There is too much noise where I am studying, what can I do?

The Library building is now open for Roehampton students, alumni and staff. Please note, some of our services have been temporarily adjusted, please see our Library Building is Open information page for up to date information.

The Library has three noise zones silent study, quiet study and group study.

If you are working in any area and you feel the level of noise is not appropriate for that zone please contact a member of library staff and they will be happy to help.

You can find a member of library staff or library security staff roving all floors between 10am - until close, alternatively please speak to someone on the Library Welcome desk.

If you are experiencing a noise issue you can also contact us via our ‘Text for Help’ service. Text us Monday to Friday 9am - 7pm on 020 3389 7542 with details of your noise issue and we will text you back to let you know we are on our way.

You can also use our online chat service, Library Chat, which can be found on our contact page
