How do I access online resources?

The University subscribes to various online resources (databases, electronic journals and electronic books) to support your studies. You can use the 'search everything' option on the Library catalogue to search our online resources.

You can also use the Library Quick Search tool on Moodle, which can be found on the Learning Skills Hub.

If you want to search for a journal title, rather than an article, you can search for these via our A-Z Journal List.

Databases can be found on the A-Z Database list or on your Subject Guide.

To use our online resources, you must identify yourself as being part of the University of Roehampton.

On campus

If you are using University PCs or Wi-Fi, many of our resources allow you access without signing in.

The easiest way to access electronic resources is via UR Library Search and logging into My Library Account using your University username and password. Once logged in, you will automatically have access to the majority of our electronic resources.

Off campus

If you are off campus you will need to log in to access all of our resources.  The easiest way to do this is to log into My Library Account using your University username and password. Once logged in, you will automatically have access to the majority of our electronic resources.

For more in-depth help on accessing our electronic materials, please visit our dedicated Library guide on Problems with Online Resources.
