First check that there is nothing in between the shelves you're planning to move (for example, other students or footstools).
When you're sure the aisles are clear, turn off all the red squares in the section you want to move - there should be no red buttons showing when moving shelves, and then press the arrow in the direction you want the shelves to move. You can move more than one shelf at a time.
There is a sensor at the bottom of the shelves that will stop them moving if something gets in the way.
Don't forget that if you need help while in the Library, you can always ask a member of staff.
