What is My Library Account and how do I check it?

Roehampton Staff and Students

To check your Library account go to the Library Homepage and select My Library Account on the top right-hand corner of the top bar. This also lets you see what items you have on loan and use features such as creating lists of resources.

Remember you should always log into your account before trying to access eResources.

External Library Members

If you are an external Library member who can borrow books (Alumni, External, SCONUL A,B,C), you'll need to create a password to log into UR Library Search. You can do this by following the instructions below.

After you have selected My Library Account, select 'External Member (Library Barcode)' on the next page.

Library account type selection screen - "select a service to sign into". Option 1 - "External Member". Option 2 - "Roehampton students and staff"

Next, select the 'Set/Reset Password' button towards the bottom of the next page.

Library account log in screen

Enter your University of Roehampton Library barcode in the 'Username' field. This will be 8 numbers long, starting with the letter P, and can be found on the front of your Library membership card. Then select 'Request New password'

You will then be emailed a link, from 'Library Password Management' to create your password. Once you have created your new password, you will need to enter your Library barcode and password to log into UR Library Search.
