On campus and off campus refer to your physical location and mode of access when accessing online resources (in other words, they have nothing to do to whether you live on campus or commute).

This is an important difference because some online resources require a few extra steps when accessing them off campus, so we have created tutorials for them.

If you are having problems accessing an online resource, letting us know if you are accessing it on campus or off campus helps us diagnose the issue.
