What digitisation services are available to staff and students?

We offer two digitisation services, one for registered disabled students and one for staff:

Digitisation Service for Disabled Students (DSDS): covered under the 2010 Equality Act, its main purpose is to make teaching and learning material available in an accessible format to students who are visually impaired or those who cannot physically manipulate a book. This service must be requested via the Departmental Disability Co-ordinators by students or someone on their behalf.

CLA Digitisation Service for staff: covered under the Higher Education Copyright Licensing Agency agreement, its main purpose is to make selected teaching and learning material more easily accessible to students. This is requested by lecturers, who will then receive URL links to be placed on Moodle or Resource List, where the link(s) will be valid for one academic year with the option of renewing it for the following year(s).
