Format is one of the aspects of an item you can use to perform or refine a search in the Library catalogue (in Library speech, a "facet"). Formats include: book, eBook, electronic resource, CD, DVD, periodical (journal), thesis, and so on. Please note that currently, the catalogue uses eBook as a subcategory of Book.
