How do I get my student ID card?

Your University of Roehampton student ID card gives you access to the Library and other University buildings.  It allows you to borrow books, other learning materials and use the print and photocopy system. You will need your ID card for attendance recording and any Student Union activities.

Your university ID card will be produced by Security at Campus Services.  Where and when you can collect your ID card will depend on which course you are on. Please see the information below for more details.

Postgraduate and Research Students

To receive your student ID card you must first have completed all of the steps for Online Enrolment which will be on your student portal landing page.

A Confirmation of Enrolment email will be sent to your university email address when you are fully registered. You will need to take a copy of your Confirmation of Enrolment email, either in paper format, or on your mobile phone, when you collect your ID card from the Card Production desk at the Security Gatehouse (Main Gate) (see below for location and opening times).

If you can't get to the Card Production desk during opening hours (see below) we can post your ID card to you. For security reasons, please use your university email address and contact them via email. You will need to send your confirmation of enrolment email and the address you need the card sent to. Please note it may take around one week to complete.
