Due to the national lockdown in January 2021, we are temporarily adjusting some of our services, including access to the Library building. For more information, please see the University guidance on the phased return to campus and what services are available on site.
If you're a student and you forget your ID card with you, you can sign in three times at the Welcome Desk during each academic year. When you sign in, you can access the library facilities but won't be able to borrow any items, including laptops.
There are other spaces on campus that you can use to study, some of which may not need an ID card to access. You can find out more about these places on our guide to other spaces on campus.
ID cards are not transferable and library users are expected to comply with the Student Code of Conduct. For more information about ID cards, visit our FAQ on "How do I get my Student ID?".
