How do I know if I can get a journal article from the Library?

To find out if we have access to a particular journal article, start by searching the Library catalogue. If you cannot find the article by searching for the article title, try searching by the journal name. Guidance on how to search on the Library catalogue can be found on the Library pages.

If you cannot find your article through the Library catalogue, then you can search for the journal through the A-Z Journal list. This is a comprehensive list of all of the journals that the Library subscribes to, it includes links and access details.

If the Library does not have access to a particular article, then you can try to request it via inter-library loan. This allows access to articles held at other libraries, see here for more information on how to request an inter-library loan.

If you need help with searching or identifying relevant articles, then the Learning and Teaching Librarian can help. You can book an in-person or online appointment through the Library calendar.
