How do I renew my Library books?

We have an automatic renewal system which means you don't need to worry about forgetting to renew your books on time. Your books will be automatically renewed up to 18 times, and you only have to return books early that someone else has reserved.

You will receive automatic emails to your university email account from no-reply@oclc.org letting you know what has been renewed - remember to keep an eye on your Junk or Other folder, as sometimes the email ends up in there.

Most of the items on loan to you will be renewed automatically on the due date. If an item can't be renewed, you will receive a separate email informing you that you have a 7 day grace period to return your items. If you do not return the item by the end of this period, you will not be able to borrow or renew any further items until the item is returned.

You can also renew items yourself online by logging into My Account

You can read more about borrowing, renewing, returning, and reserving items on our guide to using the library.
