How does automatic renewal work?

The Library building is now open for Roehampton students, alumni and staff. Please note, some of our services have been temporarily adjusted, please see our Library Building is Open information page for up to date information.

Our automatic renewal system means you don't need to worry about forgetting to renew your books on time. Your books will be automatically renewed, and you only have to return books that someone else has reserved. You will receive automatic emails from the Library letting you know what has been renewed and what you need to return.

Most of the items on loan to you will be renewed automatically 7 days before they are due to be returned. However you can also renew items yourself online by logging into My Account
