How can I save searches and keywords in UR Library Search?

Keywords and filter options can be saved for future use while looking for resources in UR Library Search. This can be particularly useful when you are working towards assignments or a dissertation. Before starting to search for resources, make sure you are logged in to My Library Account where possible. This helps to ensure you can access ebooks and journal articles, preventing problems accessing online resources

First, enter your keywords into UR Library Search, and select what filters you want to apply to the results.

A UR Library Search results page. The keywords are 'Library Research' and the selected filters specify print books from the last 25 years.

To save your search filters and keywords, select 'Save Search' in the top right-hand corner of the results page. You'll see a summary of the databases searched, keywords, and filters applied. Select the 'Save' button to confirm saving the search.

Next, select Saved Searches to access searches saved to your account, and then the keyword title of the search to run that search.

If you need to delete a saved search, select the checkbox and then 'Delete Searches'.
